  • 4 x 8 foot sheet – 3/4 inch plywood
  • 2 – 6 foot  1 x 2 inch pine boards
  • 4 x 4 foot sheet – 1/4 inch plywood
  • 8 foot – 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch shoe molding
  • 2 – 2 inch medium duty swivel casters with brake
  • 2 – 2 inch medium duty rigid casters
  • Deck screws  - 8 gauge by 1  1/4 inch
  • Wood screws – 8 gauge by 3/4 inch

Cleaning Cast Iron

Here's the best way to clean cast iron: Scrub it with coarse salt and a soft sponge. The salt, a natural abrasive, absorbs oil and lifts away bits of food while preserving the pan's seasoning. Rinse away salt and wipe dry.

As the mothers of two young boys each, we do a lot of laundry. A LOT. But let's face it, it doesn't always get immediately whisked out of the dryer, folded/hung up, and put away. And this means wrinkled clothes. And ironing? Please.... The iron pretty much only comes out when we need it for a craft project.

I came across this great idea to Make Your Own Febreeze over at Homemade Mamas, and I just had to give it a try to see if it's as good as the real thing.

Well, it is as good as the real thing.  No.  Actually....It's Better!
