Turkey and Noodles

[1]

12 Cups Chicken or Turkey Broth

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 Cup diced onion

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 pound large egg noodles. ( I use homemade, but you can buy homemade in the freezer section or the large egg noodles)

1/4 Cup of Flour

1 1/2 Cups of Milk ( I USE SOY )

4 Cups diced cooked Chicken or Turkey

3 Large Carrots

In a large pot, heat broth to boiling. Add salt, onion, carrots and pepper. Add frozen noodles and bring again to a boil. Reduce heat to keep from boiling over, but still bubbling freely. Cook 10 minutes. Stir flour and milk together and add to bubbling pot. Cook until juices are somewhat reduced and slightly thickened. Add meat. Salt to taste. Cool.

If Freezing, cool completley and put into freezer bags or a strong container.

Thaw and reheat over low heat in saucepan, microwave, or 350° oven 20-30 minutes.

*** To save money, I make my own broth and noodles.***
